بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ ﷺ، أَمَّا بَعْدُ
سوال:-
مرید کس لیے بنتے ہیں؟
✍️ جواب:-
مرید اس لیے بنتے ہیں کہ کسی نیک، متقی اور شریعت کے پابند شیخ کی رہنمائی میں اپنے نفس کی اصلاح کریں، برے اخلاق سے بچیں، اچھے اخلاق اپنائیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی رضا حاصل کرنے کی کوشش کریں۔
مرید ہونے کا مقصد صرف کسی پیر کے ہاتھ پر بیعت کرنا یا کسی سلسلے سے تعلق قائم کرنا نہیں، بلکہ اپنی زندگی کو قرآن و سنت کے مطابق بنانا اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی اطاعت میں آگے بڑھنا ہے۔
📖 قرآنِ کریم سے دلیل:
اللہ تعالیٰ ارشاد فرماتا ہے:
«يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ»
ترجمہ:
اے ایمان والو! اللہ سے ڈرو اور سچوں کے ساتھ ہو جاؤ۔
اے ایمان والو! اللہ سے ڈرو اور سچوں کے ساتھ ہو جاؤ۔
(سورۃ التوبہ: 119)
اس آیت سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ نیک اور سچے لوگوں کی صحبت اختیار کرنی چاہیے، تاکہ انسان نیکی کے راستے پر چل سکے۔
📌 خلاصہ:
مرید ہونے کا اصل مقصد نفس کی اصلاح، اچھے اخلاق اپنانا، شریعت پر عمل کرنا اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی رضا حاصل کرنا ہے۔ یاد رہے کہ کسی پیر کی اطاعت صرف جائز اور شرعی امور میں کی جائے گی۔

Mureed kis liye bante hain?
✍️ Jawab:-
Mureed is liye bante hain ke kisi nek, muttaqi aur Shariat ke paband Sheikh ki rehnumai mein apne nafs ki islah karen, bure akhlaq se bachen, achhe akhlaq apnayen aur Allah Ta'ala ki raza hasil karne ki koshish karen.
Mureed hone ka maqsad sirf kisi Peer ke haath par bai'at karna ya kisi silsile se talluq qaim karna nahi, balke apni zindagi ko Quran o Sunnat ke mutabiq banana aur Allah Ta'ala ki ita'at mein aage badhna hai.
📖 Quran-e-Kareem se daleel:
Allah Ta'ala irshad farmata hai:
«يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ»
Tarjuma:
Aye iman walo! Allah se daro aur sachchon ke sath ho jao.

(Surah At-Tawbah: 119)
Is ayat se maloom hota hai ke nek aur sachche logon ki sohbat ikhtiyar karni chahiye, taake insan neki ke raste par chal sake.

Mureed hone ka asal maqsad nafs ki islah, achhe akhlaq apnana, Shariat par amal karna aur Allah Ta'ala ki raza hasil karna hai. Yaad rahe ke kisi Peer ki ita'at sirf jaiz aur sharai umoor mein ki jayegi.

Question:
Why do people become mureed (disciples)?
✍️ Answer:
People become mureed so that, under the guidance of a righteous, God-fearing shaykh who is committed to the Shariah, they may reform their souls, avoid bad character, adopt good character, and strive to earn Allah's pleasure.
The purpose of becoming a mureed is not merely to pledge allegiance at the hand of a pir or to join a spiritual order, but to shape one's life according to the Qur'an and Sunnah and to advance in obedience to Allah the Almighty.
📖 Evidence from the Qur'an:
Allah the Almighty says:
«يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ»
Translation:
O you who believe! Fear Allah and be with the truthful.
O you who believe! Fear Allah and be with the truthful.
(Surah At-Tawbah: 119)
This verse shows that one should keep the company of the righteous and truthful, so that a person may walk on the path of goodness.

The real purpose of becoming a mureed is to reform the self, adopt good character, act upon the Shariah, and earn Allah's pleasure. Remember that a pir is to be obeyed only in lawful matters that accord with the Shariah.
